Working a Mixer for More Business
This article is for people who want to make people more comfortable with the mixer and create more work for them.
I recently attended a cocktail party celebrating the release of the new edition of Iona Magazine. I write the health column for the magazine and was represented the magazine and opened to the house. I had not done all the networking events in about 3 months. There were many reasons why I'm not the networking events have been and now I was ready to get back out there. Every company should do at least one networking event per month. You meet new people and by people who know they will be seen. Many people are apathetic and feel, networking events are not profitable. They are not profitable, if you go and collect your cards and switch cards. I took only 3 cards to go home. Are 5 appointments to call and talk to people who already know about upcoming events and projects.
Here are some rules that make it a networking event, economically advantageous to you.
10. Always take a camera. An actor was there because on the cover of the magazine. I have some great pictures with him. Even a famous writer was. And then I took pictures with old friends.
